On Friday, September 16, the Spring Lake Community House will host its Fourth Annual Starlight Gala on the lawn of the stunning Community House located on Third and Madison Avenue in Spring Lake. The Starlight Gala is a glamorous cocktail party that has quickly become an end of summer highlight for locals and visitors to the Spring Lake area. Guests visit with old and new friends as they mingle on the picturesque terrace, sampling passed hors d’oeurves and indulging in our fully stocked open bar including our SLCH Signature Cocktail.
Later they enjoy delicious dishes prepared and donated by local restaurants such as Benny’s, Brandl, Breakers, Massuto’s, On Third Cafe, Ray’s Cafe, Rod’s, Spring Lake Gourmet, Spring Lake Tap House, St. Stephen’s Green, and Tom Bailey’s.
This year you can dance under the stars to the music of local favorite Brian Kirk and the Jirks!
The Starlight Gala has become known for its exclusive gift auction featuring unique experience gifts and items donated by local stores. Some of our featured prizes include a private New Year’s Eve party for 50 to be held in the Community House, use of a street legal golf cart donated by Vic Gerard for one month, a walk on role in our annual production of “Scrooge”, a private cocktail party on our terrace, a princess party with real live princesses for your little princess, front row seats at the 2016 Spring Lake Tree Lighting, a gift basket packed with items generously donated by local area businesses and so much more. Not only is this the “not to miss” event of the season, but all proceeds benefit the Spring Lake Community House, which is a non-profit organization that is able to provide a home for our theatre and dance programs, the Spring Lake Library, and numerous community groups with the generous support of donors and friends like you.
