Consider Yourself Enchanted by Oliver!

In search of some fun family entertainment? Look no further! Spring Lake Theatre Company presents Oliver! this August. In this musical presentation of the Dickens tale Oliver Twist, lessons in love and belonging are told through the endearing Oliver, played by Liam Pollock (Manasquan) who was recently seen on the SLTC stage as Michael Banks in Mary Poppins and as Tiny Tim in everyone’s holiday favorite Scrooge.

Helping him are the ever-charming and clever Artful Dodger, played by Cameron Matheson (Cranford) and the master of thievery, Fagin, played by Doug Moore (Brick). There to tell the heartbreaking side of love and sacrifice as Fagin’s companions are Ali Gleason (Lacey) as Nancy and Brian Pollock (Manasquan) as Bill Sikes. Featured performances by “Shore Favorite” Joe Ronga (Point Pleasant Beach) and Laurett Gannon (Neptune) as workhouse duo Mr. Bumble and Widow Corney will keep you laughing and wanting “more”.

Rounding out the cast are two groups of very talented children, Fagin’s Gang: Michele Clark, Danny DiTullio, Gwyneth Fahy, Cora Hunt, Gioacchino Panzini, Massimo Peduto, Sofie Ressa, Maggie Schneider, Blaire Sheftel and Joseph White and the Workhouse Children: Kali Bilotta, Jillian Daino, Maddy Daino, Anna Drudy, Emily Fudge, Delia Hunt, Seton Iglay, Audrey Iglay, Maura Kerr, Olivia Kutcher, Kieran Licalsi, Olive O’Reilly, Kelly Mannion, Peyton Spencer, Alexander Taylor, Helen Taylor, RJ Vandenbrouck and Joseph Walker.

The adult ensemble includes Lindsay Abbot, Dan Burke, Marissa DeVeau, Morgan Iglay, Christine Jay, Anastasia Konczyk, Ellie O’Connor, Chris Randazzo, Erin Reilly, Joanna Riley, Sunny Skarecki and Sydney Spencer.

The fresh direction is the work of co-directors Reid Henderson and Caitlin Mannion and is further heightened by the charming musical direction of Beth Moore, who brings favorites such as Consider Yourself, Where Is Love, and As Long as He Needs Me to life. Christine Baglivio provides thrilling choreography against the Victorian London backdrop, seamlessly achieved thanks to the genius of set and artistic designer Andrew D’Agostino and costume designers Pat Barry and Theresa Condoluci.
