Who’s Who in the Cast
Lindsay Abbot (Ensemble) is excited to be making her SLTC debut and to be participating in her first ever musical at the ripe old age of 30. She would like to thank everyone involved in Oliver! for making her feel so welcome. Big thanks to Reid, Caitlin, Beth and Christine for all their hard work and to Blake for all his love and encouragement.
Kali Bilotta (Workhouse Child) is eight years old and attends West Belmar School in Wall. This is her first appearance in a play at the Spring Lake Community House. She is currently enrolled in the dance school as a Shooting Star. Kali has been dancing here since she was 3 years old. She loves to dance and do gymnastics and has recently found a love for acting! Kali spends lots of time with her family and friends. She thanks everyone involved in Oliver! for the great experience and looks forward to more. She also thanks her family for supporting her in this new adventure.
Marti Bookstein (Mrs. Bedwin) happily returns to SLTC. Michael Caggiano (Mr. Brownlow) has appeared in over thirty Spring Lake Theatre Company productions for the past ten years, portraying: a Mayor, a Congressional Delegate, a doctor or two, a landlord, a knight, a priest, a bishop, a prime minister, a judge, a justice, a violinist (both blind and sighted), a butler (both head and foot), a cameraman, a cop, a customer, a dying Indian, a disciple, mobster (both live and dead), a toy maker, Charity Gent, a Rutgers Professor and in this show a grandpa (which he has over two years experience).
Marissa DeVeau (Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to the SLTC stage in Oliver! after solving The Mystery of Edwin Drood as Wendy/Miss Sarah Cook this spring! Favorite credits include Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins (BCCT, NJACT Perry Nomination), Ursula in The Little Mermaid (BCCT, Junior Theater Festival), Storyteller in Once on this Island (Rider University), Nice Work If You Can Get It (Kidz-4-Kidz Alumni), and Annie Get Your Gun (Algonquin Arts Theatre). Marissa is a sophomore at Westminster Choir College studying Music Education and when not onstage enjoys singing in choir and studying sacred and early music. Emily Fudge (Workhouse Child) is proud and excited to be making her SLTC debut in Oliver! She is 10 years old and will be entering the 5th grade at St. Catharine School in Spring Lake. She has also performed in the SLTC production of Scrooge and is very active in the dance program at the theater. When Emily is not dancing or performing, she enjoys going to the beach, riding her bike and swimming. She would like to thank Pat, Caitlin, Reid and Christine for this opportunity and the entire cast for making it a fun and amazing experience.
Laurett Gannon (Widow Corney) is both thrilled and humbled to appear opposite “The (other) Shore Favorite”, Joe Ronga, in Oliver! Favorite SLTC roles include Domina in …Forum, Hannigan in Annie, The Duchess in Me and My Girl, Rose in Gypsy and Mrs. Fezziwig in Scrooge. Thank you Pat, Caitlin, Reid, Christine, Beth & Cast for such a wonderful time in “Oliver”! For Andrew, you light up my life.
Danny DiTullio (Fagin’s Gang) is beyond excited to be in the production of Oliver! Danny discovered his love of theatre through the Spring Lake Community House Theatre Workshop program where Danny took the stage for the first time in Alice in Wonderland (Mad Hatter). Danny will be a 3rd grader at Nellie Bennett (Point Pleasant). Danny also enjoys playing golf, baseball and skiing. Danny thanks Mr. Andrew Ferrie for introducing him to theatre last year. He’d like to thank his family for all of their love and support. Danny is so grateful to be a part of this amazing production and would like to thank the cast and crew of Oliver! for always being so nice and friendly.
Gwyneth Fahy (Fagin’s Gang) is so excited to be in the show Oliver! She is 11 years old and attends H.W. Mountz School. In her spare time she loves to swim, hangout with her friends and play soccer. Gwyneth has been in many shows here with Spring Lake Theatre Company. Some of her roles include Gretl (The Sound of Music), Urchin and Fezziwig Child (Scrooge), Royal Dancer (The King and I), Alice (Alice in Wonderland) and Nun (Nunsense). She has been dancing at the dance program here since 2008. She gives special thanks to Pat, Christine, Caitlin, Reid, Beth and Theresa. Last she would like to give a big thank you to her mom, dad, Luke, Morgan, Gavin and Keely for the support.
Ali Gleason (Nancy) is elated to be making her SLTC debut in one of her favorite shows! She was last seen as Mother in MVP’s Ragtime. Favorite roles include Whatshername in American Idiot, The Narrator in Joseph, Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Cathy in The Last 5 Years, The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot (3 times!) and Eponine in Les Mis (Winner B’way World’s lead actress in a pro musical). She has toured nationally and taught all over NJ. She is the Studio coordinator at the Princeton School of Rock where she also teaches voice. http://www.Princeton.Schoolofrock.com. Reid Henderson (Co-Director) received his B.F.A. in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He performed in many productions while at NYU including The Crucible, The Children’s Hour, Richard II, All’s Well that Ends Well, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He was last seen on the Spring Lake Theatre Stage as Bert in Mary Poppins. Recent professional credits include Bert in Mary Poppins and Gerald in Elephant and Piggie’s We’re in a Play. While Reid is proud of all the work he’s done, his fondest memories will always be reserved for his time playing a singing chair in his high school’s production of Beauty and the Beast. Cora Hunt (Fagin’s Gang) is ecstatic to be a member of the cast of Oliver! She is a rising 7th grader at H. W. Mountz School and loves to learn. In her spare time she plays the piano and reads. She loves working with both the cast and crew and is looking forward to the run of the show. Previous roles with the SLTC include Jane Banks (Mary Poppins), Urchin (Scrooge), Lost Boy (Peter Pan), and a Royal Dancer (The King and I). She has also been training with the Spring Lake Theatre and Dance school since 2010 and has taken additional classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York. She’d like to give special thanks to Pat, Christine, Reid, Caitlin and Beth for making this show happen and to mom and dad for always supporting her.
Delia Hunt (Workhouse Child) is seven years old and attends HW Mountz School. Her first part in a play was in The King and I at age 5. Delia takes several dance classes at the Community House and in her spare time, she dances and choreographs her own routines. Delia also loves to read, play with friends and play piano! She wants to thank all that inspire her at the Community House including Miss Pat, her loving dance teachers and big sister, Cora.
Christine Jay (Old Sally) is tickled pink to be making her SLTC debut. Local credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdalene), Mame (Agnes Gooch) and A Little Night Music (Petra), with The Stone Church Players, Seussical (Mrs. Mayor) and Sunday in the Park…(Yvonne) with NENA Productions, and Into the Woods (Jack’s Mother) with the Axelrod PAC. Christine earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Boston’s Emerson College. By day, Christine works as an Improvisational Actress for Hackensack-Meridian Health, and is a published Freelance Food Writer. Much love to Gary and Clover Melody Jay, the home team.
Elizabeth Kielty (Mrs. Sowerberry) is so happy to be a part of her 8th consecutive production here at SLTC! It is also a pleasure to be working with both Caitlin and Reid again a year after her first show here, Mary Poppins last summer. She’s also very grateful to both of her absolutely wonderful daughters, Gates and Reese, for not missing a single show that she has been lucky enough to have been cast in since rediscovering her love for acting after such a long hiatus! Elizabeth dedicates all of her performances to you and your significant others Bunny and Andy with her eternal love and devotion. XO’s
Olivia Kutcher (Workhouse Child) is ten years old and will be a 5th grade student at Brielle Elementary School. She has been in multiple Spring Lake Community House Workshop productions including Baby Bear in Shrek Jr., Goat in Wackadoo Zoo and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. Olivia loves to dance and act as well as sing on stage and in school chorus. She also loves to be with her friends, play the flute and do yoga. Olivia would like to thank her parents and brothers for supporting her in everything she does!
Kieran LiCalsi (Workhouse Child) is nine years old and attends Allenwood Elementary School. This is Kieran’s first part in a production and she is excited to sing and dance on stage. Kieran attends Musical Theatre classes at Algonquin Arts Theatre. She’d like to thank the entire SLTC team for this opportunity.
Rocco LiCalsi (Dr. Grimwig) is thrilled to be back on the Spring Lake Theatre stage as Dr. Grimwig. Rocco made his first acting performance as The Constable in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The opportunity to be a member of the SLTC family is an experience to cherish. Rocco has the unique opportunity to be joined on stage by his granddaughter Kieran LiCalsi. Caitlin Mannion (Co-Director) is a student at The College of New Jersey where she studies English Secondary Education. Having been involved in many SLTC past productions in all different capacities, she is pleased to be adding directing to the list through such a great experience that has been Oliver! Gratitude to Pat for the opportunity; thanks to the cast and crew for their talent, hard work, and creativity; and love to her family and friends.
Hannah Mannion (Co-Stage Manager) is delighted to be stage managing her second production at Spring Lake Theatre Company. Her previous stage managing credits include The Importance of Being Earnest and Mary Poppins (Assistant Stage Manager). She has performed in productions such as The Music Man, Annie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Peter Pan, and Scrooge. She is also a member of the workshop and dance program. She’d like to thank Pat, Caitlin, Reid, Christine, Beth and Theresa for their creativity and guidance as well as the entire cast for being an absolute pleasure to work with.
Cameron Matheson (Dodger) This is Cam’s first show with Spring Lake Theatre Company and he is thrilled to be part of the cast and crew putting on this production of Oliver! He is going into 8th grade at Orange Ave. School in Cranford. Cam studies Voice with Kelly Bennett at Valencia Music. His past productions include Seussical (Jo-Jo), High School Musical (Ryan), Oliver! (Oliver), The Odyssey (Hermes). He’d like to thank the Spring Lake Theatre for this opportunity to perform and his family for their support. This has been a great summer!
Anne Miele (Bet) is thrilled to be a part of this production of Oliver! She is a rising Sophomore Theatre Performance Major at Wagner College, a graduate of the SLTD Dance and Theatre Workshop programs, and a member of the SLTD Summer Workshop staff! Favorite roles include Sandy in Grease, Isabel in Scrooge, Vivienne in Legally Blonde, and Tricia in A Chorus Line. Anne would like to thank Pat, Reid, Caitlin, Beth, Christine and the entire cast and crew for making this such a special experience!
Theresa Miele (Stage Manager) will be going into her sophomore year at Emerson College this fall where she studies Writing, Literature, and Publishing. Recently she performed in the ensemble of Grease and was a theatre workshop and dance student for seven years. Favorite stage managing credits with Spring Lake Theatre Company include Jesus Christ Superstar, Scrooge, The 25th Annual…Spelling Bee, and Little Shop of Horrors. She’d like to thank the cast, Reid, Caitlin, Hannah, and Christine for being the best!
Beth Moore (Musical Director) is so happy to be musically directing Oliver! at Spring Lake Theatre Company. She has been in the orchestra for Mary Poppins, Crazy for You, A Chorus Line and Scrooge. She is a freelance pianist/conductor and also the choir director at Central Regional High School. She would like to thank Pat, Reid, Caitlin and Christine for a wonderful experience.
Doug Moore (Fagin) has appeared in countless Spring Lake Theatre Company productions over the years playing various characters including kings, presidents, pirates, villains, cowboys, wizards, and the Ghost of Christmas Present in Scrooge for over 300 performances. He has most recently been seen on the Spring Lake Stage as Harry Dangle in One Man, Two Guvnors and as Chairperson of the Board in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Throughout his tenure at SLTC Doug has stolen the hearts of dozens and he hopes to continue to do so in Oliver!… no really they fetch a fortune on the black market.
Kelvin Ortega (Mr. Sowerberry) Kelvin is an actor person. This is his fifth SLTC production and they still haven’t given him the boot, so he must be doing something right. He’d like to thank the production team and cast for being amazing.
Gioacchino Panzini (Fagin’s Gang) is proud to be making his SLTC debut in Oliver! Other theater credits include The King and I at Algonquin Arts Theatre. He is a rising 6th grade Honor Student at H.W. Mountz School in Spring Lake and participates in sports as well as band, chorus and drama club. Gioacchino will be receiving his black belt in Tae Kwon Do this fall. He would like to thank everyone at SLTC for making this a wonderful experience.
Massimo Peduto (Charlie Bates/Fagin’s Gang) is thrilled to be making his mainstage debut in Oliver! A soon to be third grader, he has performed in the Spring Lake Theatre Workshop productions of Froggy Day in Lindentown as Bully and Lemonade as Chicken Little. When he is not performing, Massimo enjoys spending time at the beach, baseball and playing the guitar. He would like to thank Pat, Caitlin, Reid and Christine for this opportunity, and the entire cast and crew for making it such a great experience!
Ben Petruk (Noah Claypole) was most recently seen as Eugene Florczyk in Grease and loves being a part of the SLTC family! This is his 4th production at SLTC, also performing in Mary Poppins and H2$ in 2015. Ben is a sophomore at Toms River East High School, and has previously performed in productions of Pippin (Troupe), Into the Woods (Wolf), Annie (Daddy Warbucks) and Grease (Doody). Ben has also shared his vocal talents on the stage in Walt Disney World. Ben would like to thank all the friends and family who have supported him in his passion for music and theater.
Brian Pollock (Bill Sikes) After debuting in the 1986 SLTC production of Scrooge as “turkey boy”, Brian took a brief, thirty-year hiatus from acting – returning to play the lovable, multi-dimensional “Dick Wilkins” in the 2016 production. He returns to the stage in Oliver! as the violent, homicidal Bill Sikes – the irony of which will not be lost on anyone that knows him. He would especially like to thank Liam for his inspiration, Sidney and Mia for their support, Alexis for her love and patience, and the cast and crew for their dedication and confidence. He would also like to dedicate the performance to the memory of his mother, Eileen Pollock.
Liam Pollock (Oliver) is excited to return to the SLTC stage in his dream role. Liam has appeared previously with SLTC in Scrooge (Tiny Tim) and Mary Poppins (Michael Banks). Liam is 9 years old and attends Manasquan Elementary School. When he is not singing, Liam loves to read, play Minecraft, swim, and climb trees. Liam thanks Pat, Caitlin, Reid, Christine and Beth for their guidance and vision in bringing Oliver! to life. Liam is grateful to the entire Spring Lake Theatre Company family for giving him a second home. To his family and friends, It’s A Fine Life for sure! Liam dedicates this performance to his Nana, Eileen Pollock.
Joe Ronga (Mr. Bumble) is thrilled to be back on the Spring Lake stage in one of his favorite shows with one of his favorite friends, Laurett Gannon! Joe has a BA in Fine Arts from Rider University and a MA in Education from Monmouth University. Favorite SLTC roles include: Captain Hook (Peter Pan), Moonface (Anything Goes), King Sextimus (Mattress), Sonny (Grease), Marcellus (The Music Man) and a Drugstore Cowboy (Will Rogers Follies). Cassidy Terracciano (Charlotte) is a Perry nominated actress who is absolutely ecstatic to be a part of this wonderful production of Oliver!. Her past credits include The Diary of Anne Frank (Anne), Cinderella (Ella), and The Addams Family (Morticia). She would like to thank the entire cast and crew for this wonderful experience. Also, she would like to thank her family for always supporting her and letting her follow her dreams.
RJ Vandenbrouck (Workhouse Child) is making his SLTC debut. Over this past year RJ has appeared in local productions of The King and I (Algonquin Arts Theatre), Miracle on 34th Street (Algonquin Arts Theatre) and Evita (Phoenix Productions). RJ will also be performing this September in Phoenix Productions’ production of Gypsy as a junior newsboy. He thanks his vocal coach Jo Wymer, the Oliver! production team for the opportunity to perform with such a talented cast and crew and his family for their love and support.
