Here’s a quick look at some of the wonderful things going on this summer at this beautiful building blocks away from the beach in the heart of Spring Lake, New Jersey.

Children’s Summer Programs: Dance and Theatre Workshop

Our summer dance classes and theatre workshop program will be fun and educational for your child! Our students learn valuable skills in technique and confidence while building friendships with classmates that will last a lifetime. We pride ourselves on upholding a non-threatening, non-intimidating environment at all times in our theatre and dance classes where all students will feel loved and welcomed.

IMG_5693We offer dance classes for all ages and levels, from our tiniest beginners (starting at age 4) to our most advanced dancers so that your child can hone their dance skills in a non-competitive, healthy and encouraging environment even when on summer break. Our schedule was built with the summer in mind to accommodate vacations, camps and outside dance training (as many of our students head to programs at the Broadway Dance Center, the Joffrey School of Ballet and more each summer). Over the course of the 8-week program which runs from June 27 through August 11, there is a unique class schedule offered Monday through Friday, which makes taking a week off no problem! Dancers of all levels are welcome. For more information and to view our schedule, visit our website, email dance@springlaketheatre.com, or call 732-449-4530. Classes are filling up quickly and will close once they reach capacity, so don’t delay registering!

If your child is looking to improve in their acting, singing and dancing skills this summer, our theatre workshop program could be the perfect fit! Theatre Workshop runs on Tuesday and Thursdays from 10:00am-1:00pm from July 5 to August 11. Each year, children return to Summer Theatre Workshop at SLTD for six weeks of acting, singing, dancing and most importantly making new friends! Our stage and facilities are second to none; costumes, lighting, and sound complete the experience of a full production. Students are exposed to dance, drama and singing for musical theater; each class is divided between one hour of voice, one hour of dance and one hour of acting. For more information and to sign up, visit our website, email workshop@springlaketheatre.com, or call 732-449-4530.
