Grease is the Word at Spring Lake Theatre Company This July!

Spring Lake Theatre Company is proud to present Grease, the 50s rock musical featuring local talent from Monmouth and Ocean Counties and beyond! Enjoy this toe-tapping musical featuring songs that are sure to get you dancing in the aisle, including “You’re The One That I Want,” “Summer Nights,” and “Greased Lightnin”. Grease picks up the story of Burger Palace Boy Danny Zuko, played by John Gnazzo of Lincroft, and girl-next-door Sandy, played by Claudia Nota of Toms River, where there summer romance leaves off. At the start of the 1959 school year, Danny and Sandy return to Rydell High amid teen angst, fast cars and their crazy friends: Rizzo and Kenickie (Allie Ambriano of Howell and Zachary James of Brick), the food-loving Roger and Jan (William Naess of Brick and Hannah Friedman of Holmdel), the loving Frenchy and Doody (Victoria Vazquez of Manahawkin and Brendan Considine of Spring Lake Heights) and the sophisticated Marty and her doting beau Sunny (Maggie Mihalcik of Spring Lake and Tim DiDominico of Oceanport).

Grease is led by a stellar production staff including Producer Pat Barry and Director Amy C. Skalecki with irresistible music led by Musical Director Andrew Ferrie and electrifying choreography by Kerry Baglivio. This SLTC production of Grease will surely be the hit at the shore this summer!
